James is Sarah’s twin brother. He is soft spoken and appears to be quite nervous. His catchphrase ‘I don’t like peril/doom/wind’ will usually ring out just before any slightly dangerous activity. However, if he gets grumpy, which often happens when Norman’s alter ego Norman-Man refers to James’ alter ego Atomic Boy as a sidekick, he is a mini force to be reckoned with.
James loves science and can be a bit of a know-all. On a trip with the Pioneers he is always letting the others know that he has swatted the subject up and has lots of facts at his fingertips. James would like to be a policeman when he grows up and loves helping PC Malcolm with his investigations. Even though the girls sometimes leave James out of things, he usually manages to win his way back with his knowledge and charm… and the fact he’ll get really grumpy unless they do.
FUN FACTS:
James loves wearing hats. He has a journalist’s hat, a policeman’s hat and he always wants to wear the kings crown when they play Castles and Kings.
James was the one who cracked the case of ‘who sabotaged Trevor’s bus?’ and cleared Fireman Sam’s name when Flex Dexter came to town.
James doesn’t know what he wants to be when he grows-up yet, but we can see from his aptitudes and interests that he’s most likely to be a robotics engineer.
